Shopfronts
Aluminium framed shopfronts with toughened glazing, entrance doors and optional security shutters.
Commercial glazing is judged on two things: whether the specification holds up under public use, and whether the installation disrupts the business. We plan both at tender stage, which is why a lot of our retail work happens between 8pm and 6am.
The technical requirements are stricter than domestic. Manifestation to Part M, impact safety to Part K, fire ratings where compartmentation applies, and DDA-compliant thresholds and door forces. We specify to the actual regulation rather than to what looks similar.
We work directly for end clients and as a specialist subcontractor to main contractors and fit-out firms, with RAMS, insurance documentation and site inductions handled as standard.
