Who we are
EV Glass Design Ltd is the data controller for the information described in this policy. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 14469234, with our office and workshop at Unit A, Pegasus Works, Roebuck Road, Hainault Business Park, Ilford, England, IG6 3UF.
What we collect
When you contact us or request a quote we collect your name, contact details, property address or postcode, and whatever you tell us about the job. If you upload photos or drawings, we collect those too.
When you browse the site we collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. Analytics cookies are only set if you consent to them.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange a survey, deliver and install your order, and handle aftercare or warranty work. This is processing necessary to take steps at your request and to perform a contract.
To keep records required for tax, warranty and insurance purposes, which is a legal obligation.
To send occasional updates if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email, and we will stop.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: installation teams working on your job, suppliers manufacturing a component to your specification, our accountants, and the finance provider if you apply for credit. We do not sell your data or pass it to marketing companies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Customer records are kept for the length of the guarantee plus six years, to meet warranty and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to the address below and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Enquiry data is held in access-controlled systems, transmitted over HTTPS, and only made available to staff who need it to do their job.
